Project Manager Junior/Junior+ (Risk Technology)

Location: Mexico; hybrid work. Relocation support is available to hubs in Mexico, Serbia, or Cyprus.

What you will do

• Manage cross-functional Risk projects by creating plans, aligning stakeholders, and tracking timelines, dependencies, and commitments.
• Monitor external project commitments and keep them aligned with initiative progress.
• Coordinate communications and publications with subject-matter experts, PR, Legal, investors, and other stakeholders.
• Adapt complex information into clear messages and visual materials for teams, management, investors, and senior audiences.
• Coordinate results showcases and establish a consistent framework for presenting team results.
• Support Risk and AI positioning, Plata’s AI employer brand, conferences, and presence in the Mexican market.

Requirements

• 1.5+ years of experience in project management, project coordination, or a similar role.
• Experience managing cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and parallel workstreams.
• Strong ownership and organizational skills, including planning undefined initiatives and tracking agreements and deadlines.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work with people at different levels of seniority without formal authority.
• Strong executive communication skills, including structuring complex information into concise messages and visual materials.
• B2+ English required for communication with an international team.

Nice to have

• Experience in a PMO, staff, or chief-of-staff function.
• Experience in fintech, banking, financial services, or another regulated industry.
• Experience with PR, employer brand, investor communications, or executive and board-level materials.
