Intern, Customer Enablement & Debug (FPGA)

Location: Penang, Malaysia. Successful candidates must provide satisfactory proof of the right to work in Malaysia and pass background and reference checks.

What you will do

• Drive customer debug and issue resolution, including direct engagement with strategic customers across industries and use cases.
• Troubleshoot the full FPGA development cycle, covering RTL design, PCB board design, FPGA architecture, timing closure, soft-IP integration, embedded systems, protocols, and hardware deployment.
• Analyze technical-support ticket trends and root causes to identify engineering improvements.
• Improve customer design collateral, including reference designs, user guides, and application notes.
• Provide technical guidance and training to field teams while collaborating with R&D on product enhancements.
• Use AI to make support workflows and customer interactions more efficient.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or relevant experience.
• Ability to work through ambiguity and use scalable frameworks to support increasingly complex issues and products.
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions, sites, and cultures.
• Exposure to debugging silicon, software, IP, board, and RTL designs is beneficial.
• Right to work in Malaysia is required.
