General Ledger Accountant

What you will do

• Maintain the general ledger and perform routine accounting activities.
• Prepare accounting statements and financial reports.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Perform month-end closing activities and prepare journal entries.
• Apply experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned goals.
• Potentially lead and direct the work of others.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting operations.
• Experience with the month-end closing process and journal entries.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
