Gen AI - Data Engineer II (Gen AI)

Annual base salary: $126,500–$208,700, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards.

What you will do

• Build, design, and operationalize complex data solutions and pipelines.
• Capture, explore, transform, cleanse, and quality-check data for AI, machine learning, and business intelligence.
• Analyze complex data sources and recommend data for analytical processes.
• Apply data governance, data security, and data quality practices.
• Collaborate across teams, support delivery, and educate end users on complex data products and analytics environments.
• Analyze and resolve complex data and system defects and incidents, and test data movement, transformation code, and data components.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and work experience.
• At least four additional years of data engineering experience; the ideal candidate profile references eight years of related experience.
• Strong understanding of Gen AI concepts, including agentic frameworks, RAG, LLMs, chunking, and hyper-parameters.
• Experience as a full-stack designer, architect, or similar professional, with a focus on data engineering and Gen AI applications.
• Proficiency in Python, cloud platforms, data manipulation, and modern software engineering practices.
• Ability to lead team members, collaborate with business partners, solve complex problems, and deliver complete solutions incrementally.
