Senior / Principal Data Scientist (GenAI)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; team members are expected to be primarily in the office.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of enterprise-level data science and generative AI solutions.
• Design scalable ML pipelines and retrieval-augmented generation frameworks integrated with enterprise data structures.
• Monitor production solutions for performance, reliability, and accuracy.
• Build evaluation frameworks for LLM efficacy and manage ground-truth dataset quality.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business leaders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of engineering experience in a development environment.
• 6+ years of data science experience with strong emphasis on NLP and ML in an agile, production-oriented environment.
• 3+ years of practical experience with open-source LLMs, including prompt engineering, inference optimization, and fine-tuning.
• 3+ years of experience building GenAI solutions, including RAG frameworks, validation pipelines, observability, and monitoring.
• Expert-level Python proficiency and experience with its data science ecosystem, including PyTorch, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
• Master’s degree in data science, computer science, or a related quantitative field.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience or certification with the Palantir Foundry or AIP platform.
• Understanding of ontology and digital twin frameworks for representing real-world entities and relationships.
• Experience with large-scale data infrastructure and distributed processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or PySpark.
• Experience implementing agentic architectures and integrating autonomous agents with enterprise systems.
