Biotech Manufacturing Technician (Wed-Sat) (Biotechnology)

Location: Onsite at the bioproduction facility in West Lebanon, New Hampshire, United States. Schedule: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM on Thursday–Saturday in week one and Wednesday–Saturday in week two. Initial training takes place Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, for approximately 3–4 weeks.

What you will do

• Perform manufacturing and manufacturing-support activities for the recovery and purification of active pharmaceutical ingredients.
• Complete routine production documentation and support in-process activities and product development.
• Implement planned process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Perform equipment and process validations according to approved procedures.
• Conduct in-process product testing and support manufacturing activities in other departments as directed.
• Work in fully gowned cleanroom areas while following GMP procedures and cleanroom restrictions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or associate degree with at least three years of experience, preferably in manufacturing; alternatively, a bachelor's degree in a science discipline with no experience required.
• Ability to understand and execute established written instructions.
• Knowledge of cGMP operations is preferable.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers, scientists, process associates, facilities support, QA, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, climbing, reaching, pushing, lifting, and repetitive hand movements; occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to work onsite in a cleanroom environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, chemicals, odors, fumes, and dust.
