Director of Product (AI)

Location: Remote from anywhere in Canada

Salary: CAD $135,000–$165,000 base salary per year

hirify.global is presenting an opportunity with a growing SaaS/AI organization focused on improving access to employment and workforce opportunities through AI-powered technology.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a product organization of four direct reports, including Senior Technical Program Managers and a Design Lead.
• Own the integrated, company-level product roadmap and capacity plan across multiple product domains.
• Establish planning sessions, stage gates, cross-functional syncs, and quarterly planning mechanisms.
• Define product metrics, instrumentation standards, dashboards, and review cadences that support decision-making.
• Translate company strategy into OKRs, roadmaps, strategy documents, and executive- and board-ready recommendations.
• Monitor workforce technology and AI-native competitors while managing priorities and stakeholder alignment as conditions change.

Requirements

• Proven experience directly managing and developing product managers, technical program managers, designers, or comparable product professionals.
• Experience owning an integrated product roadmap across multiple domains and balancing priorities with engineering and data capacity.
• Expertise in product operations, cross-functional planning, prioritization mechanisms, stage gates, or quarterly planning.
• Strong ability to establish product metrics, instrumentation, dashboards, and review processes.
• Experience translating strategy into OKRs, roadmaps, durable documentation, and executive or board-level narratives.
• Strong stakeholder management, strategic and commercial judgment, ownership, curiosity, and decisive execution in high-velocity environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in B2B SaaS, govtech, workforce technology, or other complex multi-stakeholder platforms.
• Experience working with enterprise, government, or institutional customers.
• Experience balancing the needs of end users, buyers, administrators, and other stakeholders.
