Data Science and Analytics Manager (Financial Services)

Location: Miami, Florida, United States; onsite 4 days per week

What you will do

• Lead the Data Science and Analytics team delivering dashboards, recurring reports, and ad-hoc analysis.
• Develop and maintain descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics solutions for business decision-making and optimization.
• Build analytical outputs, dashboards, and recurring reports that deliver measurable business impact.
• Implement data validations and quality frameworks to ensure reliable, timely, and insightful outputs.
• Translate stakeholder needs into data specifications and provide senior subject-matter expertise for enterprise analytics and reporting.
• Document data sources, transformations, lineage, logic, and outputs.

Requirements

• 4–6+ years of experience in data science or analytics roles.
• 2–3+ years of experience managing teams and complex data environments.
• Proficiency in SQL, dbt, and Python in a data science context.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data transformations, and data quality frameworks for scalable enterprise data products.
• Quantitative academic background with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States; U.S. employment opportunities are generally limited to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, consulting, or high-growth technology environments.
• Proficiency in Tableau.
