Data Analytics Developer, AVP - Credit and Insurance

Location: Miami, United States

Expected annual base salary: $100,000–$170,000, plus discretionary bonuses and potential equity or incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Analyze, design, implement, test, debug, and deploy scalable data-driven analytics tools for the Credit & Insurance platform.
• Build interactive dashboards and applications that provide portfolio risk insights for internal managers and external clients.
• Transform diverse, unstructured, and unclean datasets into organized formats suitable for data science and analytics.
• Develop reusable analytical models and clean, scalable Python and SQL code for portfolio analytics platforms.
• Build data visualization tools with Sigma and Tableau and extend data warehouses and core analytics architecture using Snowflake and AWS.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, asset allocators, middle-office operations, data governance, risk, and fund finance teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM field such as engineering, computer science, or data science.
• At least 3 years of experience in data analytics or data science.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, database design, and performance optimization.
• Experience with business intelligence applications such as Sigma and Tableau and scalable portfolio analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of big-data analytical techniques, AWS, Snowflake, mathematics, statistics, and financial risk methodologies.
• Ability to design reusable analytics models, efficient data structures, and accurate processing pipelines for diverse financial datasets.

Nice to have

• Experience with fixed-income investment strategies.
• Experience developing web applications with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with Terraform and AWS infrastructure.
