Select Commercial Lines Regional Marketing Technical Assistant (Commercial Insurance)

What you will do

• Support small commercial lines producers and the Regional Marketing Specialist with new business submissions.
• Review, enter, submit, and document account information in agency management systems.
• Use carrier rating tools to obtain competitive quotes for accounts with revenue up to $15,000 and follow up with carrier underwriters.
• Assist with negotiating carrier terms, preparing client proposals, and binding coverage.
• Maintain submission inventories covering terms, rates, commissions, and carrier responses.
• Build relationships with sales teams and carrier partners and participate in marketing review and carrier engagement meetings.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in commercial Property & Casualty insurance.
• Basic understanding of Property & Casualty coverages, placement, underwriting, and rating concepts.
• Property & Casualty insurance license required, or willingness to obtain it within six months of hire.
• Familiarity with Power BI and data analytics tools, including the ability to read data.
• Strong communication, organizational, prioritization, and workflow management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment; working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of insurance carrier systems for submissions and quoting.
• Interest in pursuing industry designations such as CIC, ARM, AAI, or CPCU.
