Select Assistant Account Manager (Commercial P&C Insurance)

Location: Hybrid role requiring 1–3 days per week in the New York City or New Jersey office; remote work is also listed.

Salary: $23–$31.25 per hour

What you will do

• Support Select Specialists and Producers with day-to-day client management and client and carrier communications.
• Service commercial property and casualty insurance accounts and help develop new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate service, marketing, and policy communication records in the agency management system.
• Build professional relationships with insurance carriers through regular communication.
• Support renewal retention by preparing specifications, applications, underwriting data, and related marketing information.
• Assist with rating, spreadsheets, endorsements, audits, recommendations, billing, ID cards, policy and quote checking, certificates, and follow-ups.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of commercial lines client management experience.
• Valid state property and casualty broker’s license.
• Knowledge of commercial lines underwriting, coverage, rate analysis and procedures, and experience reporting.
• Proficiency with insurance agency management systems; AMS 360 and Work Smart preferred.
• College degree preferred.
