Senior Machine Learning Engineer - USDS (Multiple Positions)

Location: Bellevue, Washington, United States; Seattle is listed under conditions. Up to 5% domestic travel required.

Salary: $196,914–$341,734 annually, with potential discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Develop, build, and optimize large-scale machine learning systems, algorithms, models, and infrastructure.
• Manage the full ML modeling lifecycle, including data preparation, feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, evaluation, and model selection.
• Design user-data modeling approaches, experiments, statistical tests, and significance analyses to optimize user experience.
• Build and train machine learning and deep learning models to analyze and predict user behavior metrics and treatment effects.
• Use big data frameworks and analytics tools to aggregate, analyze, and interpret data.
• Collaborate with product and cross-functional stakeholders, and mentor junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

• Master’s degree and 2 years of related experience, or bachelor’s degree and 5 years of progressive related experience, in computer science, engineering, information technology, machine learning, data science, statistics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• At least 2 years of experience coding with Python or C++.
• At least 2 years of experience optimizing, training, and deploying machine learning and deep learning models with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• At least 2 years of experience developing code and identifying issues in a Linux environment.
• At least 2 years of experience developing and deploying large-scale machine learning systems.
• At least 2 years of experience using Spark, Hadoop, or Flink.
