Access Center Coordinator - EHS Access and Command - Full Time

hirify.global operates Elliot Health System’s Access and Command Center, which connects patients and referring providers with primary care, imaging, specialty, and other healthcare services.

What you will do

• Coordinate registration and scheduling for new patient appointments.
• Receive and manage incoming calls and online requests from patients and referring providers.
• Enter patient demographic, medical, financial, and referral information into Epic in compliance with requirements.
• Triage calls and handle patient and provider interactions professionally.
• Collect the information providers need before appointments.
• Keep the supervisor informed about issues affecting coordination with other health system departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of healthcare experience or contact center experience.
• Prior customer service experience, specifically in a contact or call center environment.
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls in a fast-paced environment.
