MPL Operations Technician (Petroleum Operations)

Location: Pocatello, Idaho; candidates must live within 45 minutes of the reporting location.

What you will do

• Facilitate and monitor pipeline movements, conduct product sampling, and perform tank switches and cuts.
• Carry out terminal operations, measurements, routine station checks, and Terminal Rack duties.
• Respond to station alarms, resolve issues, and communicate findings to the appropriate parties.
• Assist carriers and drivers at the loading rack and maintain VRU/VCU equipment.
• Respond to right-of-way conflicts and generate computerized maintenance work requests.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and perform all work safely and in compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Previous pipeline experience, particularly with electrical or mechanical work, is highly preferred.
• An associate's degree in a technical field is preferred.
• Willingness to travel, respond to call-outs, and work overtime as needed.
