AI Sales Engineer

What you will do

• Act as the regional AI specialist for Asia Pacific and Japan.
• Deliver enterprise AI demonstrations, technical workshops, proof-of-concept engagements, and architectural guidance.
• Support Enterprise and Growth sales teams across APJ on strategic AI-led opportunities.
• Partner with customer solution architects, sales engineers, product specialists, account teams, and global AI product and engineering organizations.
• Build reusable demonstrations, technical assets, enablement programs, and best-practice documentation.
• Help accelerate AI adoption, customer outcomes, and commercial wins.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in presales, solution architecture, AI engineering, data engineering, or a related customer-facing technical role.
• Experience leading enterprise AI proof-of-concept engagements from design through delivery and business outcomes.
• Hands-on experience with large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, and AI workflow orchestration.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, including developing and presenting live demonstrations in customer environments.
• Knowledge of AI Studio, vector databases, enterprise AI architectures, LangChain or LlamaIndex, data governance, performance optimization, and large-scale analytics platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of competitive AI and data platform offerings such as Snowflake Cortex, Databricks Mosaic AI, Google Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI Service, Cloudera, IBM, and open-source AI ecosystems.
• Experience with AI use cases in financial services, retail, manufacturing, supply chain, public sector, or government.
• Experience influencing without authority across diverse geographies and cultures.
