Applied AI Architects, Partner (AI)

Location: Tokyo, Japan. Hybrid policy: staff are expected to work from an office at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more office attendance.

What you will do

• Act as a technical partner to global and regional system integrators and cloud partners including AWS and GCP.
• Enable partner AI practices, support troubleshooting, evangelize Anthropic in developer communities, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Identify industry-specific generative AI applications and develop joint solutions, reference architectures, and best practices.
• Support strategic customer deals with solution architecture guidance and deep technical expertise.
• Lead or support partner workshops, summits, conferences, developer events, hackathons, and technical enablement sessions.
• Gather partner feedback on products, use cases, and deployment patterns to inform product strategy and roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in customer-facing or partner-facing technical roles such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Partner Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager.
• Experience partnering with system integrators or cloud providers to solve complex technical challenges from solution design through customer delivery.
• Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with LLM frameworks and tools, or a background in machine learning or data science.
• Strong presentation, technical communication, relationship-building, teaching, and mentoring skills.
• Fluent Japanese and English required. A bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, or experience is also required.
