Senior Communications Operations Manager - USDS (Cybersecurity)

Location: New York; fully in-person schedule up to 5 days a week

Salary: $117,334–$211,112 annually, with potential discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Orchestrate cross-functional communications plans, timelines, approvals, and launch readiness.
• Own content calendars, assets, channel consistency, and communications operations.
• Coordinate stakeholders and vendors to deliver high-quality materials on schedule.
• Maintain governance, compliance reviews, documentation, OKR tracking, and risk mitigation.
• Prepare executive and internal communications, briefs, updates, and accessible guidance.
• Support company-wide all-hands meetings, media events, speaking opportunities, and other internal and external events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in communications, project coordination, program management, operations, or a related role.
• Strong written and verbal communication, writing, editing, briefing, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize effectively, and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Experience working cross-functionally with product, legal, security, policy, creative, or agency stakeholders.
• Ability to simplify complex topics into clear, audience-appropriate messaging.

Nice to have

• Experience with integrated communications planning, launch communications, executive communications, internal communications, campaigns, or events.
• Familiarity with templates, SOPs, approval workflows, reporting dashboards, and performance tracking.
• Exposure to data privacy, AI, cybersecurity, trust and safety, software launches, or public policy.
• Experience coordinating vendors or agencies and managing production timelines.
