State and Local Tax - Sales and Use Intern - Summer 2027 (Tax)

Location: Chicago, United States; travel to assigned client locations is required

Compensation: $34–$40 per hour

What you will do

• Work on a team covering tax specialty areas including corporate, individual, pass-through entity, federal, and state and local taxation.
• Complete tax planning and research.
• Prepare federal and state and local tax returns.
• Interpret tax regulations and accounting pronouncements.
• Travel to assigned client locations using reliable transportation.

Requirements

• Complete at least 90 credit hours.
• Work toward a B.A. or B.S. degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
• Accounting major.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Ability to work effectively on a team and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• A minimum 3.0 GPA.
