Quality Engineer I (Aerospace): Monitoring and improving manufacturing quality for aerospace and defense products with an accent on data analysis, root cause investigation, process capability, and regulatory compliance. Focus on qualifying product and process changes, developing control plans and PFMEAs, supporting audits, and preventing nonconforming material from reaching customers.
Location: Burbank, California, United States; onsite at the Burbank facility
Salary: $80,801–$97,800 per year

What you will do
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Suppliers, and Customers to maintain product and process quality.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify quality trends and process risks.
- Conduct root cause analyses and recommend corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
- Monitor quality control systems, establish sampling procedures, and perform process capability reviews.
- Lead qualification of product and process changes and approve quality-related ECOs, MCOs, deviations, and document updates.
- Support aerospace, defense, and customer audits, failure analysis, reliability testing, and quality training.
Requirements
- 0–2 years of Quality Engineering experience.
- BA or BS degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of fundamental quality engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain full color acuity.
- Access to Controlled Data or Information may require US Person eligibility under ITAR; the role is also FAA-sensitive and may require a government security investigation.
Nice to have
- Experience in aerospace or a similar manufacturing environment.
- ASQC Quality Engineer Certification.
