Manufacturing Shift Manager (FMCG)

What you will do

• Lead day-shift operations across high-speed, automated food production lines.
• Own shift safety performance through GEMBA walks, workplace inspections, action tracking, and SHEQ standards.
• Manage SOP, QA, and QC documentation, operator audits, complaints, non-conformances, and product traceability.
• Coordinate teams to achieve production plans and schedules while maintaining product specifications.
• Lead and develop frontline leaders and operators, including effective handovers with alternate shifts.
• Drive LEAN improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

• At least three years of team leadership experience in an automated food-processing or FMCG environment.
• Experience managing large workforces across multiple high-speed production lines.
• Working knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and FSSC 22000, ideally in an FSSC-certified facility.
• Demonstrated experience implementing LEAN methodologies and facilitating root cause analysis.
• Coaching skills, attention to detail, strong operational IT skills, and the ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues.
• A bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field is advantageous.
