What you will do

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of computational toxicology scientists, managing scientific resources, team strategy, and capability growth.
• Drive the development and application of AI/ML and quantitative systems toxicology models for toxicity issue resolution and clinical translatability.
• Integrate digital tools and platforms into Preclinical Safety workflows to improve efficiency, reproducibility, and data-driven decision-making.
• Build an AI-ready data and digital foundation connecting toxicology insights with broader R&D disciplines.
• Modernize the Digital Toxicology Toolkit, ensuring tools are fit-for-purpose, validated, and aligned with regulatory expectations.
• Champion digital toxicology through education, training, advocacy, and cross-functional collaboration with scientific, digital, and business strategy teams.

Requirements

• Advanced degree, preferably a PhD, in Toxicology, Computational Biology or Chemistry, Pharmacology, Cheminformatics, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in computational toxicology or quantitative systems toxicology modeling within pharmaceutical or biotech environments.
• Hands-on experience developing AI/ML models, mathematical QST models, and integrating computational tools into drug discovery and development workflows.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks for in silico methods, including ICH M7 and OECD guidelines.
• Demonstrated leadership of diverse, multidisciplinary scientific teams, including resource management and individual development planning.
• Fluent English is required; German is an advantage.
