Medical Assistant (Dermatology)

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, United States. Onsite medical practice role with Monday–Friday shifts from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.; no weekends.

Foundation Medical Partners, affiliated with Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, provides multispecialty healthcare services to the greater Nashua community, including medical and cosmetic dermatology through Nashua Dermatology Associates.

What you will do

• Provide patient care in person, by telephone, and through telehealth under the supervision of providers, registered nurses, and the practice manager.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and immunizations within the scope of practice and applicable state regulations.
• Perform point-of-care testing and collect and handle patient specimens.
• Collect and screen patient histories and health information, then communicate findings to providers.
• Communicate provider instructions and care plans to patients.
• Document procedures, interventions, communications, and test results accurately in medical records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience of three years as a Medical Assistant.
• Current BLS/CPR training.
• One year of experience in a medical practice or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Nashua, New Hampshire, Monday through Friday.
