What you will do

• Write, test, and debug complex and critical software components.
• Collaborate on requirements, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Provide technical expertise and support as a subject matter expert.
• Research solutions to complex technical challenges and help adopt new technologies and best practices.
• Debug and troubleshoot production issues with operations and support teams.
• Mentor junior team members through guidance and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Typically 10+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in a similar role.
• Professional experience with Mainframe development using COBOL, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.
• Strong programming, debugging, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Ability to take ownership of complex technical challenges.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a related field.
• Relevant certifications or additional training.
