Food Safety & Quality Intern

Location: Nijmegen, Netherlands. EU working rights are required. EU/EEA students must be enrolled at a Dutch university for at least 50% of the internship period; non-EU students must be enrolled at a Dutch university for the full internship period.

What you will do

• Support project coordination, communication, and documentation for food safety and quality risk mitigation projects.
• Contribute to food safety and quality process improvement initiatives for suppliers and external factories.
• Analyze information and support the FSQ Compliance and SCQM teams.
• Track SCQM performance against plan and coordinate follow-up management.
• Perform root-cause analyses and map and document factory processes.
• Support supplier engagement, external manufacturer audits, and quality improvement meetings.

Requirements

• Currently studying Food Quality Management, Food Technology, or Food Safety at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
• Knowledge of HACCP, food operations, and risk management.
• Precise, analytical, and results-driven approach to data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with fluent English.
• EU working rights are required, through EU citizenship or study in the Netherlands.

Nice to have

• Product development experience.
• Knowledge of Dutch or other languages.
