Physicist / Image Scientist

Location: Chesterbrook, Pennsylvania, United States; no remote or telework allowed.

What you will do

• Conduct technical analyses to help customers optimize the performance of large, complex systems.
• Create, modify, and run simulation tools and models for detailed technical evaluations.
• Review system performance specifications and validate that simulations accurately assess the intended performance.
• Interpret analysis results and present findings with recommended courses of action to customers.
• Support systems engineering activities including requirements analysis, trade studies, interface definition, verification, validation, cost, risk, and effectiveness analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, data science, image science, or a similar technical discipline.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Experience with one or more of Matlab, Python, Perl, Java, C++, or R.
• Strong analytical, written, verbal, presentation, independent-working, and teamwork skills.
