Imagery Scientist (SAR) - Expert (SAR)

Salary: $180,000–$210,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Serve as the lead technical authority for SAR exploitation and imagery science initiatives.
• Analyze SAR collection characteristics, sensor phenomenology, image formation processes, and SAR geometry impacts.
• Develop, test, and evaluate algorithms, exploitation methodologies, scientific workflows, and automated processing techniques.
• Use Python, MATLAB, Google Earth Engine, SARPy, and the MATLAB SAR Toolbox for advanced imagery processing.
• Exploit and analyze SAR imagery to identify and locate objects of interest.
• Communicate technical concepts to technical audiences, non-technical stakeholders, and intelligence users.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain a CI/Poly are required.
• 6+ years of advanced SAR exploitation and imagery science experience.
• Expertise in SAR collection and phenomenology, image formation, exploitation methodologies, and sensor metadata interpretation.
• Hands-on experience with SARPy and the MATLAB SAR Toolbox.
• Knowledge of RNIIRS, information-theoretic image quality metrics, ISLR, MNR, and SAR geometry impacts.
• Strong skills in Python, MATLAB, Google Earth Engine, remote sensing, and geospatial intelligence methodologies.

• Experience applying computer vision and machine learning techniques to SAR imagery and data for intelligence problems.
