TL;DR
Land/ROW Manager - Title (Real Estate and Land Management): Managing title teams and land activities for multistate linear projects with an accent on title review, project budgets, resource planning, and stakeholder coordination. Focus on identifying title deficiencies, overseeing condemnation-related title work, developing curative actions, and directing field and remote teams across project sites.

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States; travel to project sites is required, up to 75% of the time.

What you will do

  • Manage title teams and a portfolio of land projects across the United States.
  • Coordinate with client representatives, project managers, field services leadership, and legal teams.
  • Create project budgets, reforecast monthly, monitor schedules and costs, and manage scope changes.
  • Develop execution plans, assign work, monitor documentation, and report project progress.
  • Oversee survey, title, acquisition, permitting, construction support, and administrative personnel.
  • Assess risks, resolve title issues, support condemnation-related work, and implement corrective and curative actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Management, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of related experience, including 3–5 years in a management role.
  • Previous experience managing title on a linear project, including mineral/sub-surface and surface title work.
  • Knowledge of land descriptions, easements, conveyance documents, metes and bounds, and section, township, and range descriptions.
  • Experience reviewing title for condemnation, identifying deficiencies, and working with legal teams on curative needs.
  • Intermediate or better skills in Microsoft Office and land management systems such as GEOAmps, Flairdoc, CLSLiNK, and Integra Link.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in multistate or multi-segment projects.
  • Experience responding to RFPs and writing proposals for title work.
  • Previous Title Manager experience.
