Senior Engineer - Mechanical (Hybrid)

Location: hirify.global, Wisconsin, United States; hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days working from home each week.

Pay range: $73,200–$117,800 per year across U.S. locations.

What you will do

• Design and redesign functional, reliable, and cost-effective heavy-duty vehicle components for existing and new vehicles.
• Perform engineering calculations, investigations, analysis, and mathematical modeling to select parts, components, and materials and optimize system performance.
• Prepare and direct layouts, drawings, specifications, bills of material, technical proposals, quotations, reports, and presentations.
• Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability and provide technical support for production.
• Manage projects of limited complexity, maintain engineering documentation, and support multiple projects as needed.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and business teams, suppliers, customers, and external resources while mentoring entry-level engineers, designers, and technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Three or more years of related engineering experience.
• Mechanical knowledge of automotive or heavy-vehicle equipment and related systems.
• Experience with a high-level CAD system.
• Regular attendance and availability for the required hybrid office schedule.
