Security Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Ensure systems and networks comply with applicable computer and network security requirements.
• Monitor integrated system status and intrusion activity.
• Investigate information security incidents and track mitigation progress.
• Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures with IT management.
• Review the security of network devices, databases, web services, and enterprise applications with business groups, auditors, and external partners.
• Monitor patch-management processes and support segregation-of-duties audits.

Requirements

• BS or BA in computer science, business administration, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with information security architectures, concepts, techniques, and supporting security tools.
• Knowledge of networking, including TCP/IP, topology, and network security.
• Knowledge of Windows, UNIX, Linux, Citrix, midrange and mainframe operating systems.
• Knowledge of databases, application security, web operations, internet security, and secure remote access.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Nice to have

• CISSP or CISM certification.
