Cybersecurity Analyst

What you will do

• Design and implement solutions protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive information.
• Assess vulnerabilities, risks, network security, security products, and customer systems.
• Conduct security testing and audit log reviews to evaluate existing controls.
• Develop and maintain business impact analyses, system categorization, contingency plans, privacy documents, and other security documentation.
• Evaluate and recommend security products, technologies, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with developers, engineers, managers, and system teams on technical security improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant cybersecurity experience.
• Experience with RMF and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Strong knowledge of federal information system security policy, security control assessments, POA&M management, system authorizations, configuration management, and system analysis.
• Understanding of NIST Special Publications, including SP 800-53, FISMA audit requirements, and IT audit requirements.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, network security methodologies, risk management processes, cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and federal privacy regulations.
• Ability to provide technical support and work cooperatively with developers, engineers, and managers.
