Employee Benefits Associate Analyst (Financial Analysis)

Location: Rancho Cordova, California, United States

Salary: $65,000/year; eligible for up to a 5% bonus at completion of the 12-month program.

What you will do

• Analyze financial data to support client deliverables and reporting across business segments.
• Review insurance renewals and new business proposals to support benefit-plan decisions.
• Prepare market reviews, funding projections, and claims utilization analyses.
• Review insurance contracts and funding arrangements to identify plan structures and cost drivers.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support negotiations involving premium rates and benefit-plan features.
• Prepare clear, client-ready summaries and contribute to internal strategy meetings and multiple concurrent projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree earned within the past two years.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with data in Excel, including building tables and analyzing information.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
• Clear communication, collaboration, initiative, and willingness to learn.
