Director-Pipeline Integrity Project Management

Location: Houston, Texas; hybrid work with occasional travel to project sites and offices across the United States

What you will do

• Lead the Pipeline Integrity Project Management team of 18 employees and contractors.
• Manage project managers and oversee expense and sustaining projects from development through execution.
• Direct pipeline integrity projects such as anomaly remediation digs, hydrostatic testing, remotely monitored valve installations, pipe replacements, and launcher and receiver modifications.
• Develop and improve personnel processes, standards, procedures, and project controls.
• Coordinate with Pipeline Integrity leaders, stakeholders, customers, and other departments to achieve business and integrity goals.
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting, project selection, cost estimates, schedules, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; a Bachelor of Science in Engineering is strongly preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in project management and/or engineering in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience managing multiple professional and administrative personnel, including subordinate managers.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, planning, estimating, contract negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Project management experience in the pipeline industry.
• Familiarity with pipeline integrity goals and concepts.
