TL;DR
Engineering Development Program (EDP) - Intern (Software/Data Engineering): Developing practical technology solutions through a 10-week internship with an accent on software engineering, data engineering, and collaboration with technical teams. Focus on applying academic knowledge, developing solutions for business and technology topics, and presenting results with support from mentors.

Location: Hartford, CT; St. Paul, MN; or Atlanta, GA, United States. The 10-week internship runs from early June through August. Subsidized apartments are available for students living beyond a commutable distance from Hartford or St. Paul; housing is not provided in Atlanta.

Salary: $28.00–$30.00 per hour.

What you will do

  • Gain hands-on experience in data and software engineering.
  • Apply academic knowledge to real-world technology and business challenges during a 10-week internship.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop and present solutions.
  • Participate in a technology and business development curriculum with support from an internship manager and technical mentors.
  • Engage with company leadership through intern symposiums, community outreach, and networking events.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States now and in the future.
  • Visa sponsorship and support for H-1B petitions, TN, or Forms I-983/STEM OPT are not available.
  • Pursuing or having obtained a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Familiarity with at least one object-oriented programming language.
  • Suggested academic backgrounds include software engineering, mathematics, computer science, computer information systems, or cybersecurity.

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
