Software Engineer Intern (Data Application and Tooling) - 2027 Summer

Location: Seattle, United States; fully in-person schedule of up to 5 days per week

Hourly compensation: $42.75 per hour

hirify.global is responsible for protecting the security, integrity, and compliance of TikTok data and applications in the United States.

What you will do

• Build and operate big data computing frameworks and storage systems for large-scale platform services.
• Design and optimize high-concurrency distributed systems for stability during peak traffic.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on large-scale engineering initiatives.
• Integrate emerging technologies and new ideas into the core data platform.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Available for a 12-week internship during Summer 2027 and able to provide start and end dates.
• Programming experience in C, C++, Java, Golang, or comparable languages.
• Effective communication skills, ownership, initiative, teamwork, and responsibility.

Nice to have

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience with AI coding.
