Enterprise Customer Engineer, Vietnam

Location: Hybrid; job location listed as Singapore, with frequent travel to Vietnam

What you will do

• Lead technical discovery, validation, proofs of concept, presentations, demonstrations, and architecture design for enterprise customers.
• Map customer infrastructure and requirements to hirify.global solutions including DNS, CDN, Zero Trust, network security, and Workers.
• Design onboarding and migration blueprints, guide customer engineering teams, and oversee implementation without executing it directly.
• Partner with Account Executives to manage technical health, adoption, renewal, account expansion, and quota-related commercial outcomes.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, identify integration and deployment risks, and define remediation strategies.
• Automate customer engineering workflows using AI agents, LLMs, scripting, telemetry, and internal platforms.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Professional Services, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or Forward Deployed Engineering.
• Ability to design and clearly explain complex enterprise network and security architectures.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, consultative, and business-value translation skills.
• Experience in quota-carrying or revenue-aligned environments and familiarity with SaaS metrics and enterprise sales cycles.
• Depth in at least four areas including Internet fundamentals, security, performance, AI proficiency, coding and scripting, or developer platforms.
• Frequent travel to Vietnam and direct client communication in Vietnamese are required aspects of the role.

Nice to have

• Experience creating technical workshops, code samples, documentation, or developer onboarding materials.
• Knowledge of LLM orchestration, RAG architectures, and model-access controls.
• Understanding of PCI DSS, HIPAA, or SOC 2 requirements.
• Background in hyperscalers, digital-native companies, distributed systems, or startups.
• Fluency in Vietnamese.
