What you will do

• Define the software architecture, technical roadmap, and interface strategy for service robotics platforms.
• Establish architectural guardrails for embedded software, fleet connectivity, diagnostics, observability, simulation, cybersecurity alignment, release management, and lifecycle tooling.
• Lead the dedicated software team and shape the operating model across central software groups, product teams, service organizations, suppliers, and external partners.
• Set technical objectives, milestones, feasibility criteria, resource requirements, and risk plans for projects and programs.
• Govern software architecture, development, validation, deployment, support, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
• Drive adoption of new software technologies and methods for reusable robotics products and services.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, software architecture, product development, or robotics and automation platforms.
• Comprehensive knowledge of software architecture, systems engineering, robotics software stacks, integration patterns, validation, release management, and product lifecycle management.
• Experience with robotics technologies such as C/C++, Python, ROS2, kinematic solvers, motion planning, simulation, edge AI, computer vision, and sensor fusion.
• Knowledge of robotics controls, embedded and edge computing, fleet operations, diagnostics, service workflows, cybersecurity, supplier management, and product governance.
• Experience developing hardware-software products and leading teams or influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• Master's degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
