Technical Analyst

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid

Salary: €1,300–€2,200 per month for a full-time role, plus performance-based variable compensation.

What you will do

• Process reinsurance accounts, including exception handling, technical verification, escalations, and portfolio support.
• Check policy and financial files, identify discrepancies, and resolve data-quality issues.
• Manage balance settlements, cash flows, Accounts Receivable collection, and portfolio financial monitoring.
• Ensure financial transactions and payments comply with established processes, quality frameworks, and internal controls.
• Communicate with internal and external clients and guide peers on reinsurance accounting matters when required.

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, numerical confidence, and the ability to deliver accurate work on time.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Solid MS Excel proficiency and the ability to learn new tools and processes quickly.
• Proactive, adaptable, curious, and collaborative approach to working across teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in reinsurance, insurance, finance operations, accounting, or technical accounting.
• Understanding of treaty structures, cedent and broker workflows, and reinsurance data processes.
• Power BI proficiency.
• Knowledge of a second language.
