Operations Supervisor (Gas Pipelines)

Location: Onsite at a Tennessee Gas Pipeline compressor station in Natchitoches, Louisiana, United States

What you will do

• Supervise crews and oversee pipeline asset operations and maintenance across multiple locations.
• Lead safety, environmental, security, governmental, and DOT compliance programs.
• Plan and manage capital and O&M budgets, forecasts, work plans, and project scopes.
• Develop operating procedures, short- and long-term goals, and operational improvement plans.
• Direct priorities and schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and support staff selection and disciplinary processes.
• Respond to emergency situations 24/7 and ensure the protection of personnel, the public, customers, and company assets.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior supervisory experience or proven experience in the natural gas industry.
• Knowledge of company policies, pipeline operations, and applicable government regulations.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company insurability requirements.
• Leadership, communication, planning, organization, documentation, prioritization, and basic computer skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Natchitoches, withstand extreme weather, enter confined spaces, climb elevated platforms and ladders, lift up to 50 pounds, and remain available for 24/7 emergency response.

Nice to have

• Four-year college degree in a technical area.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, operating systems, and company software such as Maximo, IMPACT, and LMS platforms.
