Incident Response Sr. Consultant (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within Australia; the role is only available to Australian residents. Visa support is not available.

What you will do

• Lead reactive and proactive incident response engagements across the Asia Pacific and Japan region.
• Perform advanced host and network forensics across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms.
• Advise organizations during threat actor activity and develop incident response recommendations.
• Prepare written and verbal reports, presentations, findings, and remediation recommendations for customer management.
• Present technical material to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior executives.
• Contribute industry thought leadership through blog posts, CrowdCasts, and public speaking events.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience conducting or managing incident response investigations involving advanced persistent threats, organized crime, or hacktivists.
• Experience with forensic analysis tools and determining the scope and extent of compromise.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, network analysis tools, and related network logs.
• Deep understanding of targeted attacks and the ability to create customized tactical and strategic remediation plans.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence and adversary attribution.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including presenting technical content to senior executives.

Nice to have

• GIAC Certified Forensics Analyst (GCFA), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), or a similar certification.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
