What you will do

• Lead incident response engagements, conducting digital forensics, malware analysis, and threat actor attribution to identify root causes.
• Provide 24/7 on-call emergency response to contain active threats and minimize business disruption for external clients.
• Perform comprehensive forensic examinations of compromised systems, networks, and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, M365).
• Deliver executive-level briefings and written reports, translating technical findings into business impact assessments for C-level stakeholders.
• Provide expert guidance on ransomware negotiations, business email compromise (BEC), and advanced persistent threats (APT).
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to thought leadership through research and professional development.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 5+ years of IT experience (with a Bachelor's degree) or 7+ years (with a High School Diploma).
• Advanced proficiency in Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) and Windows/Linux system forensics.
• Expertise with forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, and Volatility.
• Strong communication skills for managing multi-stakeholder relationships during crisis situations.
• Ability to travel up to 20% and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

• Intermediate proficiency in Threat Intelligence and Malware Analysis.
• Experience with Cloud Security (Azure/AWS/M365).
• Intermediate project management skills.
