Security Operations Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Triage, investigate, respond to, and remediate alerts generated by the hirify.global platform.
• Analyse EDR and SIEM telemetry, logs, and forensic artifacts to determine attack root causes and provide remediation guidance.
• Perform dynamic malware analysis to identify indicators of compromise and assess malicious intent.
• Craft and tune detection signals, improve queue hygiene, and address emerging threats.
• Investigate Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace activity and advise on compromised tenant remediation.
• Support customer escalations and collaborate with Product and Engineering on MDR and human-led agentic workflows.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in SOC, Incident Response, Managed Detection and Response, or Digital Forensics roles.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, or macOS attack surfaces, malware analysis, and basic threat actor techniques.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, PowerShell, Group Policy, local account creation, and system administration abuse by threat actors.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK tactics and techniques, including credential dumping, lateral movement, persistence, and exfiltration.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including ports, protocols, NAT, IP addressing, and VLANs.
• Clear written and verbal communication, forensic investigation skills, and the ability to use and validate AI-assisted analysis.
