Entry Level Analyst (Data Analytics)

Location: On-site in Washington, District of Columbia

Salary: $55,000–$75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Analyze Integrated Program Management Reports and supporting cost, schedule, financial, technical, and risk data.
• Identify unfavorable trends, emerging issues, variances, risks, and areas requiring management attention.
• Apply forecasting methods to estimate future program performance, costs at completion, funding needs, and potential budget shortfalls.
• Conduct cost analyses for life-cycle cost estimates, program budgets, contract proposals, and other cost products.
• Validate contractor and program-office data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with reporting requirements.
• Prepare clear analyses, recommendations, reports, and briefing materials for recurring program reviews and acquisition decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in mathematics, engineering, business, or the sciences.
• 24 semester hours of quantitative coursework in areas such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, or chemistry.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
• No professional experience is required.
