What you will do
- Design and implement backend features across the vendor journey, from cart and checkout to post-order experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional, international agile teams to manage priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Contribute to system architecture, design patterns, and scalable solutions for the global platform.
- Maintain code quality through coding standards, code reviews, and automated unit, integration, and functional testing.
- Apply cloud, CI/CD, validation, resiliency, autoscaling, monitoring, and alerting practices.
- Resolve complex technical issues while optimizing software and infrastructure performance and scalability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of backend development experience.
- Practical knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, design principles, algorithms, and automated testing.
- Solid understanding of relational and distributed databases, including normal forms, ACID, isolation levels, indexes, and distributed database concepts.
- Experience with the software development lifecycle and cross-functional international agile collaboration.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills required.
