Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Singapore; at least 3 days in the office

What you will do

• Develop scalable features and reusable services for the hirify.global Resolve Online program.
• Build AI-enabled solutions for dispute management, including API integrations, anomaly detection, and intelligent automation.
• Write clean, maintainable, readable, and testable code aligned with engineering standards.
• Develop and maintain automated unit and component tests while addressing defects, performance issues, and reliability gaps.
• Partner with Generative AI tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, documentation, and productivity workflows.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, DevOps, QA, Security, Architecture, and peer engineers through releases and operational readiness activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical discipline, or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience building, delivering, and supporting enterprise-grade Java/J2EE applications.
• Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, and modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Knowledge of Generative AI coding assistants, large language models, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, data privacy, and responsible AI practices.
• Strong understanding of clean code, object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and scalable application architecture.
• Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, payments, dispute processing, or other high-volume, mission-critical enterprise platforms.
• Experience with tools such as Claude Code CLI, GitHub Copilot, Cline, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
