Senior Analyst, Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Location: New York, New York; hybrid work

Salary: $66,300–$80,000 per year, plus a discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Execute day-to-day SEO tactics across multiple client accounts.
• Implement strategic components of organic search campaigns and provide technical consultation.
• Prepare regular client reports, deliverables, and SEO recommendations.
• Coordinate client work with media, account, development, and technical teams.
• Support SEO education and evangelism, and assist with new business initiatives.
• Train Analysts and Junior Analysts.

Requirements

• 1.5+ years of experience in an SEO-focused environment.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO, search engine ranking factors, on-site optimization, and strategic SEO campaigns.
• Experience conducting keyword research and making recommendations.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics and Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with Screaming Frog, SEMRush, BrightEdge, Conductor, or comparable SEO tools.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage deliverables across several clients, communicate effectively, and maintain strong attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of HTML, PHP, JavaScript, or CSS.
• Experience with local listings management and local SEO.
• Content ideation and content writing skills.
• Experience communicating with developers and technical teams.
