Junior Tax Analyst

Location: Sofia, Bulgaria; hybrid working model with flexible working time.

What you will do

• Prepare and maintain tax records, returns, reports, and related materials.
• Manage compliance documentation, filings, and government audits for tax and subsidy matters.
• Support tax accounting and financial planning and analysis.
• Evaluate alternative tax treatments and develop tax strategies to reduce tax liability through legally compliant methods.
• Collaborate on government affairs, subsidy policy, and other financial projects.
• Perform activities in accordance with Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in finance, accounting, or controlling.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Internship or junior-level professional experience in accounting.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Knowledge of German taxes.
