Corporate Development Director

Location: Pike & Rose headquarters in North Bethesda, Maryland; hybrid schedule with four days onsite and one day remote per week. Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available.

Salary: $150,000–$178,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus under the Management Incentive Plan.

What you will do

• Evaluate acquisition, investment, and strategic partnership opportunities across industries and geographies.
• Build financial models, scenario analyses, sensitivity analyses, and valuation assessments using DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction methodologies.
• Support due diligence, risk assessment, transaction structuring, term sheets, and definitive agreements with Legal and external advisors.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations, business cases, and recommendations for senior leadership and C-suite executives.
• Advance strategic partnerships and growth initiatives through cross-functional collaboration.
• Monitor markets, industries, competitors, and emerging trends to identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or strategy roles with transaction exposure.
• Experience supporting M&A, investment, or partnership execution, including financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence.
• Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience required; MBA, CFA, or another advanced degree preferred.
