Assurance Manager - Nonprofit

Location: Tampa, United States; willingness to travel up to 25% of the year depending on client needs.

Salary: $89,800–$170,500 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Coordinate audits of required financial statements, disclosures, and related client deliverables.
• Assess engagement risks, design and communicate audit procedures, and apply hirify.global’s audit methodology.
• Manage multiple engagement teams, supervise fieldwork, monitor schedules and productivity, and review work products.
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate senior associates, supervisors, and other engagement team members.
• Maintain client relationships, address concerns, identify performance improvement opportunities, and support business development.
• Manage project profitability and communicate accounting and auditing matters to senior managers and partners.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree in Accounting or an equivalent degree.
• CPA or CA certification.
• 5+ years of current or recent experience in public accounting.
• At least 4 years of team lead or in-charge experience overseeing staff across multiple engagements.
• Experience leading teams, mentoring associates, and directing work across engagements.
• Knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and FASB or IFRS regulations, with a record of building profitable and sustainable client relationships.
