Location: Onsite in Downtown Los Angeles, California, United States. Extensive domestic and international travel is required for site visits, test events, observation, and competition delivery. Relocation assistance is not provided.
Annual base salary: $88,000–$115,000.

What you will do
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of technical operations for Olympic and Paralympic badminton competitions.
- Act as the primary technical liaison to the Badminton World Federation and translate technical standards into operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with BWF Competition Regulations, IPC standards where applicable, and International Federation mandates.
- Implement, test, and operate BWF scoring and results systems integrated with Games-wide technology, timing, and broadcast partners.
- Coordinate venue planning, operational readiness exercises, test events, and rehearsals to identify and mitigate risks.
- Support operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering elite-level BWF major events, such as World Championships, Para Badminton World Championships, Thomas & Uber Cup Finals, Sudirman Cup Finals, or World Tour Finals.
- Hands-on experience with official tournament management software, BWF-approved scoring systems, results networks, and Instant Review Systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Smartsheet.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.
- Availability to work onsite in the Los Angeles office, including variable hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak event periods.
- Ability to remain mobile across large venues, safely handle light technical equipment, and make decisions in a high-stakes sports environment.
Nice to have
- Basic graphic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Familiarity with formal project management methodologies and scheduling tools.
- Experience delivering a multi-sport Games.
- Passion for badminton or para-sport and exceptional athlete and stakeholder experiences.
