Lab Technician

Location: North Haven, Connecticut, United States; onsite, third-shift contract position

Salary: $19.50 per hour

What you will do

• Assist with the mechanical evaluation of new and existing products.
• Prepare and operate laboratory equipment, including Instron and needle testing equipment.
• Evaluate test data and report results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent related work experience.
• Previous test laboratory experience.
• Leadership experience and strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Mechanical and mathematical aptitude; experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
